Stump grinding uses a circular cutting wheel machine with teeth that grind the stump into wood chips, the remains are often used as mulch. The process of grinding a stump 6-8" below grade helps ensure it won't sprout again and allows for new landscaping options on your property. Unlike stump removal by excavation, stump grinding is more cost effective and poses less risk to disturbing buried hydro and gas utilities. 

Stump Grizzly uses various sizes of stump grinding machines to remove stumps safely and efficiently without damage to surrounding structures, trees or landscaping. Stump grinding guards and temporary fencing is installed around the stump site to minimize flying debris and post grinding clean-up.
